Stella Kamm is a native Nashvillian and proud alumna of Franklin Road Academy, where she had the honor of being named valedictorian of the class of 2009. Ms. Kamm went on to attend Washington University in St. Louis, earning her Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature and Psychology in 2013 (magna cum laude) and her Doctor of Jurisprudence from the School of Law in 2016.

During law school, Ms. Kamm was a member of the Washington University Trial Team and received nearly 350 hours in advanced trial advocacy instruction from Judge David C. Mason of the 22nd Judicial Circuit in St. Louis, Missouri in preparation for national competitions. Ms. Kamm was awarded a CALI certificate of excellence for her work in the Washington University Children and Family Law Clinic, where she represented parents seeking to be reunited with children who had been placed in the foster care system and parents of special needs children seeking guardianships and conservatorships. Ms. Kamm had a summer clerkship in 2014 with the Circuit Court of Williamson County where she worked to assist Judge Michael W. Binkley, Judge James G. Martin, III, Judge Timothy L. Easter, and Judge Robbie T. Beal. In the summer of 2015, Ms. Kamm clerked for Judge Hamilton V. Gayden, Jr. of the First Circuit Court of Davison County.

Ms. Kamm is a member of the Tennessee Bar Association, Nashville Bar Association, Williamson County Bar, The National LGBT Bar Section of the American Bar Association, Tennessee Trial Lawyers, Tennessee Association for Justice, and Kentucky Bar Association.
